In Kherson region, Russian occupants attacked a civilian car with a drone, injuring 5 people. The prosecutor's office opened an investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war.

Over the last day, 81 combat engagements were registered in the frontline. Ukrainian defenders are repelling Russian invaders' attacks in various sectors, including Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Lyman and Kramatorsk.

On August 18, Russian forces shelled Kupiansk, injuring a 52-year-old woman. Private houses and a utility company in Kivsharivka were also damaged.

Over the last day, 139 combat engagements were registered in the frontline. The highest concentration of attacks was in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian troops repelled 46 enemy assault and offensive attacks.

There were 98 combat engagements over the day. Russia launched 3 missile strikes, 64 air strikes, and used 463 kamikaze drones. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are repelling attacks at the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Lyman and other directions.

Two people died and 12 were injured as a result of hostile shelling in the Kharkiv region. A pre-school, a school, an ASC, power grids and a private enterprise were damaged.

Russian occupants attacked a civilian enterprise in the Kupyansk district with anti-aircraft guns. The attack killed two civilians and injured another employee. Emergency services are working at the scene.

In the Kharkiv region, as a result of enemy shelling, two medics from the "Hospitallers" were killed, and civilians were injured. Residential buildings, infrastructure facilities, and vehicles in various parts of the region were damaged.

The military situation in Kharkiv region remains unchanged, but the enemy has not abandoned its plans. Forest fires and shelling of civilians in Kupyansk and Kruhlyakivka were recorded, and 58 people were evacuated.

In Kupyansk, a Russian FPV drone attacked people waiting for humanitarian aid. A 64-year-old man was injured and hospitalized. The occupiers have conducted a total of 35 attacks on civilians in the region.

Russian troops attacked Kupyansk and Kharkiv districts of Kharkiv region. The shelling damaged a pharmacy, a warehouse building, and a private house, with no casualties.
