Kupiansk

Over the last day, 101 combat engagements took place, most of them in the Pokrovske and Lyman sectors. The enemy carried out 73 air strikes and fired 4,747 times, and the Defense Forces repelled numerous attacks in various parts of the frontline.

The head of the Kharkiv RMA reported a decrease in the number of Russian air strikes on the region. Previously, 30-60 guided bombs were recorded per day, but today there are only a few and two missiles.

In the Kharkiv region, the enemy shelled Kupyansk and the district. Grass caught fire in the village of Hlushkivka, and a car was damaged in Kupyansk as a result of a drone attack.

There were 98 combat engagements over the last day. The enemy launched 2 missile attacks, 59 air strikes and 623 kamikaze drone strikes, and fired 3,412 times at Ukrainian troops' positions.

Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Syrsky reported fierce fighting on the eastern front. The enemy is trying to break through the defense in the Pokrovske direction.

At night, Russian troops shelled Izyum and Kupianske in the Kharkiv region. The attacks killed two people, injured several others, and damaged residential buildings and infrastructure.

Russian troops attacked Velykyi Burluk in the Kharkiv region with multiple rocket launchers. As a result of the attack, a woman was killed, her 10-year-old son received burn injuries, and residential buildings were damaged.

The body of a 61-year-old man with traces of explosive trauma was found in Kupyansk district. A car with the body of a 61-year-old man killed by a mine explosion was found in Izium district.

There were 108 combat engagements in various sectors of the frontline. The most intense fighting continues in the Pokrovsk sector, where the enemy conducted 40 assault and offensive actions.

In Kharkiv, a series of explosions were heard, probably outside the city. The air force warned of guided bomb launches in Kharkiv region, and explosions were also reported in Kherson.

Checks of men at checkpoints in the occupied territories of Luhansk region have been intensified. In Sievierodonetsk, people can be detained for attempting to film.

A 71-year-old man was wounded in Kupyansk as a result of shelling. In other districts of Kharkiv region, damage and destruction of private houses, outbuildings and a car were recorded.

The SBU detained six Ukrainians who were spreading calls in support of Russia's war against Ukraine. The detainees face up to 10 years in prison for justifying aggression and encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The SBU detained a former employee of a TV company who became the "technical director" of the TV provider during the occupation of Kupyansk. He was disconnecting Ukrainian channels and connecting Russian ones, contributing to the spread of propaganda.
