On July 4, around 2:00 PM, the Russian army shelled a residential area of Kupyansk. A 55-year-old woman was killed, and three people were injured.

On July 4, three civilians were injured as a result of Russian shelling in the Donetsk region: two in Kramatorsk and one in Kostiantynivka. The wounded sustained mine-blast injuries, and an educational institution was also destroyed.

Since the beginning of the day, 91 battles have taken place at the front. About two-thirds of the combat engagements were recorded in the Pokrovsk, North-Slobozhansky, Kursk, and Lyman directions. The Defense Forces of Ukraine are holding back the advance of the Russian occupiers, repelling their attacks.

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported a case of cannibalism in the Russian army on the Kupyansk direction. A soldier from the 68th Motor Rifle Division ate his comrade-in-arms, who was considered missing.

Today, a Russian drone hit a utility truck in the Bohodukhiv community, injuring a 52-year-old driver. Also, over the past day, the enemy shelled Kupyansk, wounding a woman and a man.

A serviceman of the Russian Armed Forces shot two civilians in the Kupyansk district. He faces life imprisonment. The indictment has already been submitted to the court.

There were 99 combat clashes on the front. The hottest is in the Pokrovsky direction, where the enemy attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 33 times, but was repulsed.

GUR "Chimera" fighters, with the support of other units, stabilized the defense in the Kupyansk direction. More than 40 fortifications were destroyed, more than 30 invaders were eliminated and two were taken prisoner.
