Vyacheslav Savytskyi, director of KP "Pleso", has been notified of suspicion of embezzling UAH 1. 7 million in budget funds. The investigation established the embezzlement of funds allocated for environmental protection measures and official forgery.
A regional forum was held in Cherkasy region on August 15. They discussed community development and economic strengthening, regional recovery after the war, as well as how joint efforts of government, business, and communities can create new opportunities.

On August 11, residents of Chyhyryn contacted the Cherkasy District Police Department regarding damage to banners with portraits of fallen heroes. Law enforcement officers quickly identified the suspect – an 18-year-old local resident.

On the night of July 24, Ukraine repelled an attack of 107 aerial assets, shooting down 90 Shahed drones and one Iskander-K missile. Seven regions were attacked, with 13 UAVs and 3 missiles hitting 11 locations.
Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with 71 Shahed-type attack UAVs. 27 drones were shot down or suppressed, another 18 did not reach their targets, but 26 drones hit 14 locations.
As of the morning of July 23, 122 settlements in Ukraine are without electricity due to strong winds and rain. Kirovohrad, Kyiv, and Cherkasy regions were most affected.
The Center for Public Health has published a list of beaches in Ukraine where the water meets standards as of July 18. The list includes Kyiv, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, and Chernihiv regions.
