The President of Ukraine and Olena Zelenska met with wounded soldiers in the Pokrovske direction and Kharkiv region. They discussed psychological assistance and the Movement Without Barriers project.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine spoke about the successful operation in the Kursk sector. Ukraine forced Russia to redeploy 67,000 of its best troops and the remnants of the DPRK contingent to defend this area.

In the village of Basove, Zolochiv community, a man born in 1955 was injured in an explosion when he rode his bicycle on a dangerous object. The victim received an injury to his right shin and was hospitalized.

Over the last day, 125 combat engagements took place in seven sectors, with the most active fighting in the Pokrovsk sector (62 clashes). The enemy attacked in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Kramatorsk and other sectors.

On January 19, mild winter weather is expected in Ukraine with an average temperature of +3. ..+5°C. The warmest temperatures will be in the south and west, with sleet possible in the east.

There were 176 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day. The largest number of attacks was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector - 84 hostile attacks.

Russian troops launched rocket attacks on Kharkiv and Chuhuiv districts. The strike caused a fire in a two-story building in the Vysochenska community, with no casualties.

In the Pokrovsk sector, 32 enemy attempts to push Ukrainian troops back were registered. In total, 89 combat engagements took place in various sectors of the frontline since the beginning of the day.

The Kyiv subway engineer was in charge of an FSB agent network that collected intelligence on military facilities. The group consisted of 5 people, two of whom have been detained and face up to life imprisonment.

The police uncovered a criminal organization of 27 people who embezzled 90 million UAH from bank depositors through the pledge of non-existent real estate. The funds were spent on the construction of factories, CHPs, and luxury property.

Over the last day, 174 combat engagements took place, 79 of them in the Pokrovsk sector. The adversary launched a missile attack, used 2,147 kamikaze drones and made about 4,000 artillery attacks.

On January 18, cloudy weather with rains and sleet is forecast in Ukraine, especially in the northeast and east. Temperatures will range from -2°C at night to +8°C during the day, with possible icy conditions on the roads.

Enemy attack drones were detected in Ukrainian airspace in several regions at once. The drones are moving in different directions in Sumy, Poltava, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Zhytomyr regions.

There were 155 combat engagements in various sectors of the frontline. The most intense fighting took place in the Pokrovsk sector, where the enemy carried out 64 attacks in the vicinity of 13 settlements.

An adaptive sports space for veterans and people with disabilities has been opened in Povorsk. The project was implemented with the support of the MHP Community Foundation and the Sports for All Foundation as part of the Time to Act, Unstoppable

There were 141 combat engagements in the frontline, most of them in the Pokrovsk sector, where 53 attacks were repelled. The enemy carried out 35 air strikes and fired about 5,000 times.

There were 131 combat engagements over the last day, most of them in the Pokrovske and Kursk sectors. The enemy carried out 30 air strikes and fired over 4,300 times, losing 300 troops in the Pokrovsk sector.

Starting from January 27, trains to Odesa will be faster by 2-3 hours after the railway infrastructure is repaired. New stops have been added in Mykolaiv region and Odesa-Skhidna station for the convenience of passengers.

In the Kharkiv region, the occupiers are trying to cross the Oskil River by boat and create a bridgehead. The Armed Forces are working to eliminate enemy groups that have crossed the river.

Russian troops shelled Ivashky village of Zolochiv community with a tank, damaging a house and power lines. The occupiers are also using UAVs to remotely mine the territory of the village.

There were 89 combat engagements in various frontline areas, with the largest number of attacks in the Pokrovske sector - 31. In the Kursk sector, the enemy launched 250 artillery strikes, and Ukrainian troops repelled eight attacks.

Russian occupants attacked Kharkiv with a Molniya UAV in the Sloboda district. Three people were injured and four cars were damaged as a result of the attack.

The occupiers made four unsuccessful attempts to advance deeper into the territory in the north of Kharkiv region. Heavy fighting continues in the Kupyansk sector.

The Ukrainian military successfully resists the massive use of Russian drones and shoots down their unique models. New Ukrainian unmanned developments, including fiber optic drones, are appearing at the front.

On the Kursk direction, Russia has lost up to 35,000 troops, including 4,000 soldiers from the DPRK. In total, there are 60 thousand Russian troops in this area.

The President reported the most difficult situation in eastern Ukraine due to the large concentration of Russian troops. The brigades are only 60-70% equipped with weapons, but the enemy is suffering significant losses.

Russia attacked Ukraine with 55 Shahed drones and imitator drones from different directions. Air defense forces destroyed 34 attack UAVs, but there were hits to a farm and damage to private homes.

There were 118 combat engagements in the frontline, including 41 assault attempts in the Pokrovsk sector. The occupants conducted 33 air strikes and used over 900 kamikaze drones.

A resident of Zhezkazgan was sentenced to 4. 5 years in prison for participating in the war against Ukraine as a member of the Wagner PMC. The mercenary worked as the head of an artillery depot for 240 thousand rubles per month.

There were 48 combat engagements in the frontline, most of them in the Pokrovske and Lyman sectors. Occupants attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and shelled settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
