Rescuers in Poltava region saved two men and a woman from a boat stuck in the ice on the Dnipro River in Hradizk village. One man fell through the ice, while the other man and the woman were brought to shore with the help of an airboat.

On December 29, at 05:29, a main gas pipeline caught fire near the village of Rososh, Mukachevo district. 21 rescuers and 7 units of equipment have been deployed to extinguish the fire; there is no threat to the population.
In Zakarpattia, a family of eight, including six children, was hospitalized with carbon monoxide poisoning. The father of the family timely detected the danger and took measures to ventilate the premises.
Due to bad weather, power outages have been recorded in Cherkasy, Volyn, Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Chernivtsi regions. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

In Chernivtsi region, rescuers extinguished a large-scale fire at a poultry farm in the village of Zamostya. The fire destroyed a building with an area of 975 square meters and led to the death of about 5,000 birds.
In Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, a regular bus with 30 passengers was involved in an accident, overturning on its side. One man died, and five people, including a child, were injured.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that much could be resolved in diplomacy before the New Year, and Ukraine is doing everything for this. He noted that decisions depend on partners, important sanctions and pressure on Russia, missiles for air defense, and the finalization of formats for ending the war and security guarantees.
In Brovary, Kyiv region, one person died and another was hospitalized due to carbon monoxide poisoning from a generator. The incident occurred in an apartment building where the generator was operating in the basement.
The State Emergency Service showed the aftermath of the December 27 attack on Odesa, where a residential building caught fire and a lyceum was damaged due to a Russian strike. Rescuers evacuated 4 people, extinguished the fire over an area of 150 square meters, and there were no casualties.
In Sumy region, rescuers extinguished a large-scale fire at an infrastructure facility caused by a Russian UAV attack. The enemy launched a repeated strike on the SES work site, but no personnel were injured.
As a result of a massive attack on Kyiv, one person was killed and 27 were injured, including two children. Rescue operations are ongoing in several districts of the city.
