177 combat clashes were recorded last day, mostly in the Pokrovsky, Limansky and Novopavlivsky directions. The Defense Forces struck areas of concentration of personnel and equipment of the enemy.

Russian troops are trying to break through south of Pokrovsk and onto the Pokrovsk-Kostyantynivka highway, where heavy fighting is taking place. The situation around the city is tense.

Russian troops do not stop trying to break through the defense in the direction of Kramatorsk. The enemy attacks the positions of Ukrainian defenders every day, but their attempts are unsuccessful.

175 combat clashes were recorded over the past day. Most of the battles took place in the Pokrovsky and Novopavlivsky directions, where our defenders stopped the aggressor's assaults.

Since the beginning of May 18, 130 combat clashes have taken place at the front. Russian invaders launched 54 air strikes, dropping 80 CABs, and involved 1,098 kamikaze drones.

During the day, Russian troops launched 2,554 strikes on 14 settlements in the Donetsk region. 62 civilian objects were damaged, including 44 residential buildings, and there were dead and wounded.

On May 17, one person died and eight were injured as a result of shelling in the Donetsk region. The Russians attacked Yablunivka with a drone, killing a 27-year-old woman and damaging a shop.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine are restraining the advance of the occupiers, 81 combat clashes took place. The greatest activity of the enemy is observed in the Pokrovsky direction, where 23 attempts to break through took place.

Since the beginning of the day, 115 combat clashes have occurred. Russian troops carried out 47 air strikes and over 3923 shellings of Ukrainian Armed Forces positions and populated areas.

Over the past day, 165 combat engagements took place, most of them in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions. The Defense Forces repelled numerous assaults and inflicted losses on the enemy.

Since the beginning of the day, 117 combat clashes have taken place. The hottest areas are Pokrovsk, Kursk and Lyman, the enemy dropped 65 CABs and used over 1,100 kamikaze drones.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 23 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy made 29 attempts to break through. Fighting continues near Vovchansk and other settlements.

Over the past day, 155 combat clashes were recorded, almost half of which were in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy was also more active in the Lyman direction.

Russian troops shelled 9 settlements in Donetsk region. Three people were injured in Pokrovsk, Myronohrad and Kostiantynivka, dozens of civilian objects were damaged.

During the day, 161 combat clashes took place, mostly in the Pokrovsky direction. Ukrainian troops struck at the areas of concentration of the occupiers, destroying their equipment.

In April 2025, Russian forces captured approximately 200 sq. km of Ukrainian territory, roughly 6 sq. km per day. Pokrovsk remained a priority target for the Russian Federation, but without noticeable advancements.

Since the beginning of the day, 80 combat clashes have been recorded, almost half of which occur in the Pokrovsky and Novopavlivsky directions. The enemy is also shelling border settlements.

Over the past day, the most fighting took place in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian troops repelled 71 assaults. The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 1,300 invaders and hit important objects.

During the day, the enemy attacked 16 settlements of the Donetsk region, causing 3,380 strikes. 129 civilian objects were damaged, including 81 residential buildings.

Most of the fighting on May 6 is concentrated in the Pokrovsky direction, where the enemy made 36 attempts to advance. The Russians also became more active in the Novopavlivsky direction.

Over the past day, 200 battles took place at the front, more than half of them in the Pokrovsky and Lyman directions. The enemy launched 80 air strikes and more than 6,100 shellings.

The 425th Separate Assault Regiment "Skala" is effectively operating in the Pokrovsk direction, stabilizing the situation and intercepting the initiative. The soldiers of the regiment received honorary awards from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At night, the Russians attacked Kramatorsk and settlements of Kramatorsk district. Over the day, 10 people were injured in the region due to shelling, there is destruction.

The number of Russian offensives on Pokrovsk has increased significantly in the last month. The enemy has started using motorcycles, which are becoming the basis of their offensive tactics, gathering in large groups.

Over the past day, 269 combat clashes took place at the front, most of them in the Pokrovsky and Novopavlovsky directions.

The Russian army has slowed down its offensive, but losses remain high – 160,000 in 4 months of 2025. The biggest losses were in January – 48,060 people.

At night, Russian troops attacked 8 settlements in the Donetsk region, one person was wounded. Over the past day, 4 people died in the region and 8 were injured as a result of shelling.

The largest number of battles since the beginning of the day took place in the Pokrovsky, Kursk, and Lyman directions. The Defense Forces of Ukraine are restraining the advance of the Russian occupiers.

Three quarters of the 100 battles took place in the Pokrovsk, Lyman and Kramatorsk directions. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding back the enemy's onslaught, having eliminated 1,100 occupiers.

Russian troops have increased the intensity of fighting, focusing their efforts on the Pokrovsky direction, trying to break through the defense and reach the administrative border of Dnipropetrovsk region. Syrsky took measures to strengthen the defense.
