Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi visited the positions of Ukrainian military personnel in Donetsk region, where the situation remains difficult due to Russia's transfer of reserves for the offensive. He clarified tasks for commanders and outlined steps to strengthen defense, including logistics and coordination.
Over the past day, December 12, 178 combat engagements took place at the front, 42 of which were assault actions stopped in the Pokrovsk direction. Russian invaders lost 1,300 personnel, three tanks, and 283 UAVs.
Since the beginning of the day, 161 combat engagements have been recorded at the front. In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 37 attacks, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 109 and wounded 40 occupiers.
Fighters of the 'Skelya' assault regiment raised the Ukrainian flag in the center of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region. At the same time, the situation in the region remains difficult. Battles are also ongoing for Myrnohrad.
Over the past day, 234 combat engagements were recorded, the enemy launched 38 airstrikes and dropped 94 guided aerial bombs. The Russians carried out 3607 shellings and used 3622 kamikaze drones, enemy losses amounted to 1460 personnel.
On December 10, 2025, 200 combat engagements took place at the front, Russian occupation forces carried out 23 air strikes and used over 1,700 kamikaze drones. The greatest activity of the occupiers was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy attacked 36 times.
The occupiers launched active operations in the morning, attempting to break through to Pokrovsk from the southern direction. Ukrainian units are repelling the attack, destroying enemy equipment and personnel.
The defense of Pokrovsk continues, Ukrainian troops control almost 13 square kilometers in the north of the city. The situation in the Myrnohrad area remains difficult, the enemy is conducting intensive assault operations. Yesterday, 122 occupiers were neutralized and enemy equipment was destroyed.
Over the past day, 177 combat engagements took place on the front line, a quarter more than the day before. The highest activity was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, where our defenders stopped 48 assault actions of the aggressor.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi met with Ukrainian media to discuss the real situation at the front and refute Russian disinformation. He emphasized the importance of responsible information dissemination and explained why not all successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine can be immediately disclosed.

62 combat engagements were recorded at the front. The enemy is actively operating in the Pokrovsk, Oleksandrivka, and Kostiantynivka directions, having made 19 attempts in the Pokrovsk direction. In the Siversk-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy launched an airstrike and carried out 50 shellings.
Russian occupiers are trying to infiltrate the northern part of Pokrovsk, taking advantage of the fog. Search and assault operations are underway and the enemy is being eliminated in urban areas.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 139 combat engagements per day, almost a third of which occurred in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy launched missile and air strikes and used kamikaze drones.
Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out an organized maneuver in the area of Lysivka and Sukhyi Yar near Myrnohrad, moving to more advantageous positions. Over the past day, 17 occupiers were eliminated and one infantryman was taken prisoner.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the Russian occupiers' offensive, repelling 22 out of 25 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. In total, 87 combat engagements have taken place on the front since the beginning of the day.

As of 4:00 PM on December 6, 2025, 77 battles have already taken place at the front, with the highest activity in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka directions. The Defense Forces are taking measures to prevent the enemy from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory.
During December 5, 184 combat engagements took place at the front, the enemy launched 53 air strikes, dropped 137 guided aerial bombs, used 6602 kamikaze drones, and carried out 4988 shellings. Missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit three enemy artillery systems.
Since the beginning of the day, 106 combat engagements have been recorded on the front, the enemy is actively operating in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka directions. The occupiers carried out two air strikes, dropping five guided aerial bombs, and 105 shellings of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's positions.
The situation in the Pokrovsk direction remains tense, but Ukrainian units control the northern and central parts of the city. The enemy is trying to bypass the settlement from the flanks, but these areas are also controlled.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 167 combat engagements over the past day, with 52 enemy attacks repelled in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy launched 61 air strikes and carried out 6,664 shelling attacks.
On December 4, 2025, 154 combat engagements took place at the front, the hottest spot being the Pokrovsk direction. Russian occupiers used 38 airstrikes, 119 guided aerial bombs, and 3,207 kamikaze drones.
Since the beginning of the day, 131 combat engagements have been recorded at the front. The enemy is actively operating in the Pokrovsk, Oleksandrivka, and Kostiantynivka directions, where the Defense Forces repelled numerous attacks.
Information about the capture of Dobropillia near Huliaipole is not true. The Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group that infiltrated the outskirts of the village has been destroyed, and the settlement is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian units continue to hold the northern part of Pokrovsk and prevent the Russians from advancing in Myrnohrad, said the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi. He held a meeting with commanders where issues of coordinated application, ensuring advancement, and timely replacement of units were discussed.
As of 10:00 PM on December 3, 2025, 158 combat engagements took place during the day, the enemy increased the use of kamikaze drones and concentrated activity in Donetsk region. The General Staff confirmed the damage to oil depots in the Tambov and Oryol regions of the Russian Federation.
Ukrainian special forces from the 3rd Special Operations Forces Regiment conducted a special operation in Pokrovsk, eliminating three Russian occupiers. One was eliminated with small arms, and two others with an FPV drone and an accurate shot.
As of 4:00 PM on December 3, 2025, 84 combat engagements have taken place at the front, with Russian invaders continuing massive assaults on the positions of Ukrainian defenders. The greatest activity is concentrated in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka directions, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 24 and 16 attacks, respectively.
