On the night of October 8, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 2 ballistic missiles and 19 drones. Air defense shot down all drones over 5 regions, 18 were destroyed, and 1 returned to Russia.

The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports the threat of attack UAVs in Mykolaiv and Odesa regions. In this regard, air defense systems are expected to be operational in the region.

On the night of October 7, Russia attacked Ukraine with more than 80 air targets, including Kinzhal missiles. Air defense forces shot down 34 targets, including 2 Kinzhal and 32 attack UAVs.

At night and in the morning, Russians fired 18 times at the border areas of Sumy region, 49 explosions were recorded. In the Sumy community, 4 civilians, including a child, were wounded as a result of a Geranium-2 UAV attack.

Mykolaiv air defense forces destroyed one Shahed 131/136 UAV. Earlier, the enemy attacked the Kutsurubska community with an FPV drone and an infrastructure facility in Mykolaiv, with no casualties.

The 123rd Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is conducting an internal investigation into the death of the commander of the 186th Battalion, Ihor Hryb. The journalist reported that the commander committed suicide after the battalion retreated from Vuhledar.

On the evening of October 4, the Russian army attacked an infrastructure facility in Mykolaiv, allegedly with X-59/X-69 cruise missiles. There were no casualties. In the afternoon, there was an artillery attack on the Halytsynivka community.

In September 2024, the number of damaged cultural institutions in Ukraine increased by 49. Clubs, libraries, and art education institutions in the eastern and southern regions were most affected.

Russian troops fired 14 times at the border of Sumy region, 28 explosions were recorded. Air defense forces shot down 6 enemy “shaheds”, one civilian was injured in the attack.

Enemy troops attacked Mykolaiv region. An FPV drone attacked the Kutsurubska community, and Ochakiv came under artillery fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Enemy troops fired 82 times at Sumy region, 160 explosions were recorded. They attacked 13 communities, using various types of weapons, including anti-aircraft guns and drones. In Sumy, 8 people were wounded.

According to the Ministry of Culture, 1,169 cultural heritage sites have been damaged in Ukraine due to Russian aggression. Most of the damage was done in Kharkiv, Kherson, and Donetsk regions.

The occupation forces carried out several artillery shelling and drone attacks on the Ochakivska and Kutsurubska communities of Mykolaiv region. The attacks did not result in any casualties, said Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv RMA.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal met with USAID Administrator Samantha Power. They discussed energy recovery, business support, and reforms, including customs.

Enemy drones attacked the Kutsurubska community in Mykolaiv district. According to the head of the RMA, Vitaliy Kim, the attacks took place on October 1 at 14:17 and 03:36, with no casualties.

“Ukrzaliznytsia has announced the resumption of train traffic on the Dolynska - Mykolaiv line. The traffic was blocked due to enemy shelling, but the next train will arrive in Mykolaiv and Kherson.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported shooting down 29 of 32 Russian Shahed attack drones over Ukraine at night. The attack was carried out from the territory of Russia and occupied Crimea, and countermeasures were taken in seven regions of Ukraine.

Due to enemy shelling in Mykolaiv region, the Dolynska - Mykolaiv section is closed to train traffic. The Kyiv - Mykolaiv train will run to Dolynska station, and a bus transfer will be organized for passengers.

At night in Mykolaiv region, air defense systems shot down 4 Shahed 131/136 drones. The attack damaged an educational institution in the Shevchenkivska community. Two civilians were injured in the last day due to Russian shelling.

Russian occupants launched 22 attack UAVs at Ukraine on the night of September 29. Air defense forces shot down 15 drones in different regions, and another 5 were lost as a result of electronic warfare countermeasures.

A Russian FPV drone attacked a residential building in the Kutsurubska community of Mykolaiv region. As a result of the attack, a retired couple was wounded: A 67-year-old man in serious condition and a 64-year-old woman in moderate condition.

On the night of September 28, 2024, Ukraine's air defense repelled a large-scale attack. 69 Shahed attack UAVs and 2 X-59/69 guided missiles were destroyed, and 13 regions of Ukraine were attacked.

Enemy shelling was recorded in Mykolaiv region. During the night, air defense forces destroyed three Shahed drones, and attacks took place in Bashtanka and Mykolaiv districts, but without civilian casualties.

Vitaliy Kim, Head of Mykolaiv RMA, announced plans to restore water supply in Mykolaiv by summer 2025. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal instructed to provide funding and start work on restoring the water supply system.

In Mykolaiv region, the aggressor carried out a series of drone attacks. Nine attacks were recorded in the Kutsurubska community, and one of them caused a car to catch fire. Fortunately, there were no civilian casualties.

The Prime Minister announced the completion of the construction of fortifications in Mykolaiv region. UAH 567 million has been allocated for the project, and now the procedure and cost of maintaining the facilities must be approved.

Russia has launched a massive attack on the Ukrainian energy sector, but has not achieved its goals. The government is strengthening the protection of energy facilities and building a distributed generation system, particularly in Mykolaiv.

Zelenskyy's advisers say Ukraine will agree to a ceasefire if Russia cannot invade again. Kyiv rejects proposals that would only suspend the war and give Moscow time to consolidate.

On the night of September 24, Ukraine's air defense repelled a large-scale attack involving 85 air attack aircraft. 66 Shahed attack UAVs were shot down and other enemy missiles were detected.
