Counterintelligence measures involving the National Police, National Guard, and Military Law Enforcement Service will take place in Lviv from May 15 to 18. Possible traffic restrictions and document checks.

The SBU and the National Police detained 5 accomplices of the Russian Federation in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions. They tried to destroy a synagogue, a car of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and relay cabinets of Ukrzaliznytsia.

Brigadier General Oleksandr Pivnenko has not been removed from the post of Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine. He continues to perform his duties as usual.

Six heads of the National Guard, responsible for logistics, have been suspended from their positions. This is due to NABU searches regarding possible violations in tenders.

Ukrainian troops have regained control over a strategically important territory north of Lyptsi. The enemy's losses amounted to over 1,500 people, hundreds of units of equipment were destroyed.

"Khartia" fighters liberated a forest in Kharkiv region with an area of over 200 hectares. Control over the forest area north of Lyptsi has been restored. The operation lasted more than 5 months, the enemy suffered significant losses.

Ukrainian servicemen who defended Ukraine in various directions, including Mariupol, have been released. This is the 64th exchange, with a total of 4,757 citizens released.

Serhiy Zhadan called on Ukrainians to join the MHP Run4Victory charity race, which will be held on May 18 in Kyiv. All funds will go to support the 13th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine "Khartia".

The situation on the front is difficult, there have been 70 Russian assaults. Most of the fighting is in the Pokrovsky, Kramatorsky, Limansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian troops are operating in the Kursk and Belgorod regions.

Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 1,130 Russian soldiers and destroyed 302 units of enemy equipment. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is adjusting data on the total losses of the enemy.

Over the weekend, the National Police recorded about 6 reports of incidents near churches. Most of them concerned citizens being under the influence of alcohol, to which the police responded.

Four teenagers, three 17-year-olds and one 15-year-old, were notified of suspicion for beating up a soldier in Hydropark. They are charged with hooliganism, the prosecutor's office is requesting house arrest.

Law enforcement officers in Kyiv started intensified patrolling during the Easter days. Joint patrols of the police, National Guard, and others are working near churches and temples to ensure safety and prevent offenses.

As a result of the 63rd exchange and actions outside of it, 277 Ukrainians have been returned: 246 soldiers were exchanged, 31 were released separately. These are defenders from different directions who will now meet Easter at home.

President Zelenskyy announced the return of 277 Ukrainian soldiers from Russian captivity. Among those released are servicemen of the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the State Special Transport Service, and border guards who defended various fronts.

Foreigners who served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, or the State Special Transport Service can obtain Ukrainian citizenship regardless of their length of service. The decision is made upon submission by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, or the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.

Bohdan Krotevych stated that his name disappeared from the decree on awarding the order. The National Guard explained this as a technical error and promised to correct it.

In March 2025, the "DobroDiy" Charity Exchange provided assistance in the amount of over UAH 1. 43 million, financing the rehabilitation of 13 seriously ill children and supporting medical institutions.

The Ministry of Finance has denied information about the threat of delays in payments to the military. Financing of the Armed Forces is a priority, funds are provided in the state budget for 2025, payments are made on time and in full.

Funds from registrations for the MHP Run4Victory race in Cherkasy, which is more than 700,000 UAH, will be used to purchase drones for the 118th Territorial Defense Brigade. The race did not take place due to mourning and shelling.

Serhiy, the hero of the scandalous show who married a student, recorded a video message from the front. He explained that his wife initiated the filming and spoke about his dismissal from school due to the scandal.

A 39-year-old woman is suspected of stealing items from the grave of Nazariy Hryntsevych, the youngest defender of "Azovstal". She faces up to three years of imprisonment.

The DobroDiy Charitable Foundation handed over two vehicles, a Mitsubishi L200 and a Nissan Navara, to the Typhoon unit. The vehicles are equipped with Starlink, the project cost is over UAH 1 million.

The government has extended the «Contract 18-24» program to the National Guard and the State Border Guard Service. Medical examination has been simplified and the list of positions for Ukrainians aged 18-24 has been expanded.

At night, the enemy attacked Odesa region, causing fires in garages and damage to houses. One person was injured, rescuers quickly eliminated the consequences.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky awarded the rank of brigadier general to colonels Anton Verkhovenko and Valentyn Ostryzhny on the Day of the National Guard.

March 26 is the Day of the National Guard, the Day of Document Freedom, "Purple" Epilepsy Day and the Leavetaking of the Annunciation. In the folk tradition, it is St. Basil's Day; if it rains, there will be many mushrooms.
