The international arbitration tribunal obliged Gazprom to pay NJSC "Naftogaz" 1. 37 billion dollars due to violations of contractual obligations. This decision is an important victory for Ukraine.

The heating season in Ukraine ended on April 16 with record low gas reserves in storage facilities – 0. 675 billion cubic meters. The country has started a new injection season.

"Naftogaz" is considering various scenarios, including strict consumption restrictions. Industry is recommended to import gas, the state is looking for funding for purchases.

A French court has allowed the forced recovery of $5 billion from Russia in favor of Naftogaz. The company has already encumbered Russian assets in France for over 120 million euros.
