Russian media reported that Gerasimov reported to Putin on the "completion of the operation" to "liberate the Kursk region. " At the same time, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy in the Kursk direction.

During the day, 156 combat clashes took place at the front. The hottest spot remains the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian defenders stopped 44 enemy assaults.

There have been 116 combat engagements on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The greatest enemy activity is observed in the Pokrovsk and Kursk directions, where fighting is ongoing.

Over the past day, 175 battles took place on the front, most of them in the Pokrovsk direction, as well as in the Kursk region. The Defense Forces eliminated 1,170 invaders and destroyed 48 cruise missiles.

Since the beginning of the day, 98 combat clashes have taken place, almost two-thirds of them in the Pokrovsk, Kursk and Kramatorsk directions. The Defense Forces inflict significant losses on the enemy.

168 combat engagements were recorded last day, a third of which were in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy carried out 111 air strikes and 6289 shellings of the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on April 23, Russian troops lost 1,060 soldiers and 49 artillery systems. The total losses of the occupiers since the beginning of the war amount to over 945,000 people.

The number of brigades that volunteers can join has increased from 16 to 24. The project offers a contract for UAH 1 million, monthly financial support and benefits.

Since the beginning of the day, 85 combat clashes have taken place at the front, a third of them in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy has also become more active in the Kursk and Lyman directions.

Over the past day, 165 battles took place at the front, most of them in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy also intensified in the Lyman and Toretsk directions.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 4:00 p. m., a total of 56 combat engagements have occurred since the beginning of the day. The greatest enemy activity is recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, where 22 battles have taken place.

State Border Guard Service spokesman Andriy Demchenko said that Russia did not adhere to the "Easter truce". Shelling and attacks on border guards continued on the border in Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions.

Over the past day, 96 combat engagements were recorded on the front. The enemy attacked the most on the Pokrovske direction, where the Defense Forces stopped 39 attacks.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on April 20, Russian troops lost 670 soldiers. Also destroyed were 10 artillery systems and other enemy equipment.

According to the report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the start of the day on April 20, 86 combat engagements have occurred on the front line. The enemy used 704 kamikaze drones and carried out 1519 shelling attacks.

Since the beginning of the day, 45 combat engagements have taken place on the front line. The highest enemy activity remains in the Pokrovsk sector, where twenty engagements have been recorded.

According to the General Staff of the AFU as of 20. 04.25, during the previous day the Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated 950 Russian occupiers. Also, hundreds of units of enemy equipment and weapons were destroyed.

Over the past day, April 19, 107 combat engagements were recorded on the front. A third of them occurred in the Pokrovsk direction, where the enemy lost 165 occupiers.

As of now, a total of 59 combat engagements have taken place. The enemy is most active in attacking in the Pokrovske, Lyman, and Toretsk directions.

During the day on April 18, 162 combat engagements occurred on the front. The most active was the Pokrovsk direction with 54 battles, the enemy also carried out 103 airstrikes and used 2855 drones.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine eliminated another 1180 Russian occupiers over the past day. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army has lost 940,150 servicemen, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

DeepState analysts as of the evening of April 18 recorded changes on the front line. The defense forces pushed back the enemy in Udachne, however, the occupiers advanced in Sukha Balka and near Nove in Donetsk Oblast.

National resistance training centers will operate in every region of Ukraine. The heads of the centers will be appointed by regional councils on the proposal of the regional state administration.

More than a third of the 65 battles on the front on April 18 took place in the Pokrovsk direction. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding back the enemy's onslaught and repelled 22 attacks by the occupiers, and two more clashes are ongoing.

Over the past day, 143 combat clashes took place at the front, almost half of them in the Pokrovsk direction. 21 combat clashes were recorded in the Kursk region.

Since the beginning of 2025, 50 tests of new military equipment have been conducted at the "Iron Polygon". Mostly drones, electronic warfare equipment and engineering support were tested.

During April 17, 114 combat clashes took place at the front, most of them in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy launched missile and air strikes, used kamikaze drones and carried out shelling.
