Zhytomyr
A city in northern Ukraine
Zhytomyr is a city in northern Ukraine, the administrative center of Zhytomyr Oblast, located on the Teteriv River. It was founded in 884. The city has an area of 61 km² and, as of 2022, a population of 261,624 people. It is known as the birthplace of the outstanding designer Serhiy Koroliov. The city houses a unique museum of cosmonautics.
