Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine

The Government approved the proposal of the Ministry of Education and Science to reorganize the State University of Infrastructure and Technology by merging it with the National Transport University.

Education Minister Oksen Lisovyi announced new criteria for funding universities, including graduate employment. An experiment with tuition grants worth UAH 308 million is also being implemented.

The Minister of Education of Ukraine said that about 200,000 men of mobilization age are entering universities for fictitious studies. The Ministry of Education and Science is conducting inspections and analyzing anomalies in the enrollment of men aged 25+.

Education Minister Oksen Lisovyi announced that students in grades 5-7 will be fully provided with new textbooks by the start of the school year. The Ministry of Education is also working on a program to print workbooks for the New Ukrainian School.

The Ministry of Education is opening a hotline to inform people about the return to full-time education. Call 1545 to find out about forms of education, education of displaced children and other issues.

Minister of Education Oksen Lisovyi said that Ukrainian schoolchildren are two years behind the curriculum. The Ministry of Education is developing programs for quality education of different categories of students in the context of war.

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the state standard for specialized secondary education, which will be introduced on September 1, 2027. It will allow students to form an individual educational trajectory and choose a study profile.
