After February 24, 2022, the number of notaries in Ukraine decreased by 11%, according to the Ministry of Justice. Currently, there are 5,823 notaries, one in five of whom works in Kyiv.
Over 50 couples have been denied online marriage registration via "Diia": 17 in 2024 and 40 in 2025. In a year of the service's operation, over 17,000 couples have married online.
Last week, 3,365 new marriages were registered in Ukraine. Most of them were concluded in Kyiv – 828, followed by Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions.
