Russian troops attacked Kharkiv twice with guided aerial bombs, the city's mayor Igor Terekhov said. Explosions were heard in the city, details of the strikes and possible consequences are being clarified.

RMA Chairman Sinegubov called on residents of Kharkiv and the region to stay in shelters because of the Russian occupiers' attacks.

In Kharkiv region, 467. 7 hectares are on fire, including 324.7 hectares of forests. The authorities are stepping up security measures: they are preparing evacuation plans, increasing firefighting supplies, and banning the storage of combustible materials near forests.

In Balakliya, Kharkiv region, 1168 hectares of forest are burning, and there is no threat to settlements. In the Poltava region, near the village of Mala Pereshchepyna, some fire centers are being extinguished after a large-scale fire was localized.

Russian troops shelled a farm in Shestakove, wounding two people. A number of attacks were recorded in Kupyansk and Chuhuiv districts over the day, damaging buildings and infrastructure.

There were 226 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day. The most active attacks took place in the Kurakhove and Pokrovske directions. Russian aviation conducted 18 strikes in the Kursk region, dropping 27 guided bombs.

The SBU detained two women who collaborated with the occupation administrations of the Russian Federation in Luhansk and Kharkiv regions. One was the “deputy director of a lyceum of the lPR”, the other worked in the occupation administration of Kupyansk.

The coming winter will be the most serious test for Ukraine due to Russian attacks on its energy infrastructure. The IEA predicts an electricity shortage of up to 6 GW and proposes measures to ensure energy security.

The SBU detained 5 executives of a Kyiv-based design institute for helping Russia restore damaged oil refineries. The cost of Russian “contracts” amounted to almost UAH 500 million.

Due to the damage to the energy infrastructure, power outages of up to 18 hours a day are possible in Ukraine in winter. Some areas may be left without heating.

Russian troops attacked Kharkiv with S-400 missiles and KAB-250 bombs. Civilian objects in three districts of the city were damaged, including a school, a kindergarten and residential buildings.

A 42-year-old Russian military intelligence agent who transmitted the coordinates of Ukrainian troops was detained in Kharkiv. The offender recorded the location of the Defense Forces and sent the data to a Russian curator.

A 27-year-old drunken man threatened to detonate grenades, issuing an ultimatum to the police. A measure of restraint in the form of nightly house arrest was imposed on the suspect.

In Kharkiv, rocket attacks on the forest belt of the Shevchenkivskyi district were recorded. A fire broke out at the site of the “arrivals” and windows were smashed in the surrounding residential buildings. Information about the victims is being clarified.

The situation is the hottest in the Kurakhove and Pokrovske sectors. Ukrainian defense forces are repelling numerous attacks by Russian occupants, restraining their advance in various parts of the frontline.

About 250 people have been evacuated due to the fires in Kharkiv region, especially in the area of Andriivka. 14 fires have covered 40 hectares of forest, and 600 rescuers are working to localize the fire.

As a result of two strikes by Ukrainian military aircraft on Kharkiv, 9 people were injured, including a 15-year-old boy and 4 rescuers. At night, the enemy shelled the village of Tsupivka, damaging a private house.

Two more civilians sought medical attention after yesterday's shelling of Kharkiv. The total number of casualties reached nine, including four rescuers wounded on their professional holiday.

The U. S. State Department has reviewed the plan for Ukraine's victory presented by Zelenskyy and considers it effective. The United States will continue to provide Ukraine with the necessary assistance and is confident in its victory.
