Border guards see no significant threat from Belarus. Russia continues daily shelling of Sumy and Chernihiv regions, but does not expand the area of active hostilities in this direction.

Ukraine's air defense forces destroyed an X-59/69 missile and 4 'Shahideen' on the night of July 27. During the day, another 8 air targets were shot down, including Forpost and Lancets in the south and northeast.

Over the past day, about 200 fires broke out in Ukraine over an area of 120 hectares. The most difficult situation is in Dnipropetrovs'k, Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions. The SES urges people to be careful with fire.

The last two residents were evacuated from Makiivka. A new subject with mandatory military training for students will be introduced in the occupied territories on September 1.

Electricity consumption in Ukraine has decreased due to the heat wave. Outage schedules are expected from 16:00 to 22:00, and there are blackouts in Ternopil, Volyn and Khmelnytsky regions due to bad weather.

NPC Ukrenergo announced the cancellation of daytime power outages in most regions of Ukraine on July 24. It is planned to import electricity from 5 countries in the total amount of 26,528 MWh.

Until 14:00, all regions will have one outage queue. After 14:00, the number of queues will increase to 2-3 depending on the region.

Russian troops attacked the facilities of the electricity transmission system operator. More than 28,000 customers in Chernihiv and Poltava oblasts were cut off from electricity supply due to the shelling, and blackout schedules are in place.
