He began his career as a community organizer, worked as a lawyer, taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago, and later became an Illinois state senator, then a US senator, and eventually the 44th President of the United States. Currently, he is actively involved in public and political activities through the Obama Foundation, supporting Democratic candidates and opposing partisan gerrymandering.
