Barack Hussein Obama II was born on August 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. He earned a bachelor's degree from Columbia University and then a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. He began his career as a community organizer, worked as a lawyer, taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago, and later became an Illinois state senator, then a US senator, and eventually the 44th President of the United States. Currently, he is actively involved in public and political activities through the Obama Foundation, supporting Democratic candidates and opposing partisan gerrymandering.
