The Washington Post is one of the most famous and influential American daily newspapers. Founded in 1877 by Stilson Hutchins. Initially, it was a small publication, but over time, The Washington Post became a leading source of news in the United States. True fame came after the "Watergate scandal" (1970s), when journalists exposed political corruption in President Richard Nixon's administration.
