On May 19-20, a "yellow" level of danger has been declared in a number of regions of Ukraine due to thunderstorms. Exceptions are Kyiv, Vinnytsia and Chernihiv regions.

The enemy is trying to break through to the Dnipropetrovsk region, but is suffering significant losses. The Russian Armed Forces are also trying to seize bridgeheads on the right bank of the Dnieper and keep logistics under control.

During negotiations in Istanbul on May 16, Russia made demands regarding Ukraine's neutral status, renunciation of reparations, and recognition of Russian territories. It also demanded a ceasefire.

The enemy has intensified assaults in the south, trying to break through to the Dnipropetrovsk region. The situation has worsened in the Novopavlivka direction, where the Russian Federation is suffering significant losses.

On the night of May 11, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with 108 Shahed-type drones and simulators. Defense forces shot down 60 UAVs, another 41 simulators were lost locally.

During the day, 161 combat clashes took place, mostly in the Pokrovsky direction. Ukrainian troops struck at the areas of concentration of the occupiers, destroying their equipment.

At night, after the end of the three-day "truce", Russia launched "Shaheds" at Ukraine. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a threat of strike UAVs in several regions, including Sumy, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia.

Russian drones attacked Cherkasy region, damaging an outpatient clinic in Uman district and a kindergarten in Zvenigorod district. 27 drones were destroyed by air defense forces.

Russian invaders attacked settlements of Izyum district in Kharkiv region. Residential buildings, an educational institution and a village council building were damaged, fires broke out.

Russian invaders struck the city of Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia region. Residential buildings were destroyed, and at least two people were injured.

The Russians advanced near Lyman, Siversk, Novopavlivka, Kurakhovo and Velyka Novosilka. The Armed Forces are counterattacking in a number of areas, fighting continues in many directions.

During May 2, 216 combat clashes took place on the front. The enemy launched 1 missile and 101 air strikes, carried out almost 6,700 shellings, and involved 2,694 kamikaze drones.

During the day, Russian troops carried out 400 strikes on 11 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, including air strikes, UAV attacks, MLRS and artillery shelling. Many buildings were damaged, but no civilians were injured.

Due to Russian aggression, 1453 cultural heritage sites have been damaged in 18 regions of Ukraine and Kyiv. The Kharkiv, Kherson, and Donetsk regions have suffered the most.

Overnight on May 2, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with 150 drones. 64 "Shaheds" were shot down in the east, north, and center. 62 decoys were lost locationally. The Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions were affected.

Putin insists on recognizing the annexed territories as part of Russia as a condition for negotiations, which complicates Trump's efforts to end the ceasefire. Negotiations have reached a deadlock.

The situation in the Novopavlivka direction has escalated, the enemy is rushing to the border of three regions. Russians have changed their tactics of shelling Kherson, hitting rescuers.

Russia continues to integrate the temporarily occupied territories into its management system, redistributing electoral districts. In the 2026 State Duma elections, 7 deputies will be elected from the occupied regions.

As a result of the enemy shelling of one of the communities of the Zaporizhzhia region, private houses were damaged. There is also a partial lack of electricity, communication and internet, but, according to preliminary information, there are no casualties.

Russian troops carried out 354 strikes on 12 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. One house was damaged, but no civilians were injured, Ivan Fedorov reported.

Russia refuses to make concessions regarding Crimea and the Zaporizhzhia NPP, insisting on conditions that are tantamount to Ukraine's capitulation. This undermines Trump's efforts to achieve peace.

During April 26, 174 combat clashes took place on the front line, 68 of them on the Pokrovsk direction. Intense fighting is also taking place in the Lyman and Toretsk directions.

In Zaporizhzhia region, 21 kindergartens are switching to a full working day with education and hot meals in shelters. More than a thousand children will be involved in offline learning.
