Since 2021, 8,644 new agricultural companies have been registered in Ukraine, while 3,416 have ceased operations, indicating significant growth. The largest number of new companies appeared in Odesa region, Kyiv, and Lviv region, and 1,738 agricultural firms changed their region of activity, of which 346 moved to western regions.
The Odesa region prosecutor's office uncovered systemic abuses by officials that led to budget losses of UAH 6. 3 million and environmental damage of almost UAH 200 million. Among the crimes identified are illegal sand extraction from the Danube, embezzlement of state enterprise funds, and misuse of budget allocations.
Two individuals who were preparing an armed attack on a local entrepreneur's private household have been detained in Odesa region. Among those detained is an active serviceman who had voluntarily left his military unit.
