A 30-year-old woman fell out of a 9th floor window in Kharkiv while drinking alcohol. The victim was taken to the hospital with multiple injuries, her condition is assessed as serious. A criminal investigation has been opened.

Russian troops are planning an assault in Vovchansk, particularly in the area of the aggregate plant. Additional personnel have been deployed and logistical support measures have been taken.

In the Kharkiv region, the enemy shelled Kupyansk and the district. Grass caught fire in the village of Hlushkivka, and a car was damaged in Kupyansk as a result of a drone attack.

There were 96 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day. The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk sector, where almost a third of its offensives took place, in particular in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Zhelanne, Karlivka and Hrodivka.

On August 8, Kyiv is expected to have comfortable weather without precipitation, up to +26°. Across Ukraine, the temperature will range from +25° to +32°, with partly cloudy skies and light rains possible in most regions.

There were 68 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day. Russia launched a missile strike, 50 air strikes, used 674 kamikaze drones and fired 3,682 times at Ukrainian troops' positions.

There were 54 combat engagements in the frontline. The enemy increased aviation activity near Sumy region, dropping about 30 guided bombs. Most attacks took place in the Pokrovsk sector.

An accident occurred at an intersection in Lozova, one car overturned. A 35-year-old man and his 3-year-old daughter were hospitalized with moderate injuries. Police opened a criminal investigation.

The OTU "Kharkiv" reports a record number of attacks - 517 per day. Russian troops regroup in Vovchansk and receive new batches of weapons for assault operations.

At night, Russian troops launched 30 Shahed attack drones from Russian territory. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down all drones over 7 regions of Ukraine.

Russian troops shelled Kharkiv and three districts of the region. A 62-year-old man was injured, fires broke out in residential buildings, infrastructure and 26 vehicles were damaged.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported 107 combat engagements over the day. The most active fighting is taking place in the Pokrovsk sector, where 31 engagements were recorded. The enemy also launched missile and air strikes on the territory of Ukraine.

In Pesochin, a man shot two acquaintances during a conflict, firing at least 14 bullets. The suspect is 57 years old and faces up to 15 years in prison or life imprisonment.

A Russian missile strike on Kharkiv on August 6 injured 12 people, including an 8-month-old baby. The condition of all the victims, including the baby, is assessed as moderate.

The Russian attack on the center of Kharkiv injured 12 people, one person was killed. President Zelenskyy said that rescue operations are ongoing, and there may be people under the rubble.

President Zelenskiy reports that in July, the Ukrainian military used more drones than the Russian occupiers. Ukraine plans to increase production of its own missiles and has contracted one million drones for this year.
