Educational institution

School is an educational institution with an organized learning space. Most schools provide primary and secondary education. There are also schools of higher or special education, pre-primary (in Ukraine, preschool) education. Special schools may specialize in the study of a particular field of knowledge or art: a school of economics, a music or theater school. In Ukraine, the educational program "New Ukrainian School" is currently in effect. NUS envisions that children go through primary school (4 years), secondary or basic school (5 years), and specialized education or lyceum (3 years) over the course of 12 years.
