The Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff reported 169 combat engagements over the past day. The most intense fighting took place in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove sectors, where there were 24 enemy attacks each.

Russian losses amounted to 1,140 people and 1 helicopter was destroyed. Total enemy losses since the beginning of the war: 666340 people, 8953 tanks, 17800 armored vehicles, 19322 artillery systems.

There were 114 combat engagements on the Russian-Ukrainian front over the last day. Enemy attacks were most active in the Liman, Kurakhove and Pokrovsk sectors, where Ukrainian troops repelled most of the attacks.

The fiercest fighting continues in the Liman, Kurakhove and Pokrovske sectors. The enemy is trying to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops, but the defenders are holding their ground and inflicting significant losses on the occupiers.

Ukrainian defense forces attacked a military airfield in Adygea, Russia. An ammunition depot was hit, a fire was reported and the nearby village was evacuated. Su-34 and Su-27 aircraft were based at the airfield.

Over the last day, 149 combat engagements took place, the most intense in the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk sectors. The enemy launched 4 missile attacks, 85 air strikes and over 4,000 shelling attacks, using over 1,600 kamikaze drones.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released data on the losses of the invaders over the day. The enemy lost 1,080 soldiers, 14 armored vehicles, 41 artillery systems and 49 operational and tactical UAVs.

In the Black Sea, there are two enemy ships with the ability to launch up to 8 Kalibr missiles. There are also two ships in the Mediterranean, one of which can launch up to 4 Kalibr missiles.

There were 119 combat engagements in the frontline, with the most intense ones in the Kurakhove sector. The enemy attacked in various parts of the frontline, including in the Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Lyman and other areas.

The Ukrainian military attacked a storage base for about 400 Shahed attack drones near Oktyabrskoye in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia. According to the General Staff, a precise hit on the target and secondary detonation at the facility was recorded.

The General Staff reports 80 attacks by Russian troops on Ukrainian Defense Forces positions as of 16:00. The most active fighting is taking place at the Kurakhove and Pokrovske directions.

The 41st recruitment center of the Ukrainian army has been opened in Kamianets-Podilskyi. The center will be open from Monday to Friday, providing consultations and the opportunity to voluntarily join the Defense Forces.

The Verkhovna Rada has adopted a draft law amending the Criminal Code of Ukraine in accordance with the Rome Statute of the ICC. The amendments provide for stricter punishment for aggression and the introduction of new articles on crimes against humanity.

An oil port in occupied Feodosia continues to burn after an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The fire area has grown to 2.5 thousand square meters, according to the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian military has been given the opportunity to submit electronic reports through the Army+ app. The General Staff plans to expand the functionality by adding military training and new types of reports.

The General Staff reported 250 cases of Russian special munitions with chemical substances being used against the Defense Forces in September. In total, 4,228 such attacks have been recorded since the beginning of the invasion.

An advisor to the mayor of Mariupol said that the fire at the oil terminal in occupied Feodosia is still ongoing. Earlier, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed a successful strike on this facility, which was used to supply the Russian army.

The Cabinet of Ministers has introduced new mobilization rules starting October 1, 2024. Commanders of military units will be able to call up volunteers without the involvement of the Military Commissariat, which should increase motivation and improve recruitment.

The Head of the Main Personnel Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the priority units for volunteers. These are the units of the Land Forces, Airborne Forces, Marines and Unmanned Systems Forces.

In September, the average daily losses of Russian troops in Ukraine reached a new high of 1,271 people per day. British intelligence predicts that Russian losses will exceed 1,000 people a day through 2024.

Traffic on the Kerch highway is restricted after the damage to the offshore oil terminal in Feodosia. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed the strike on the largest terminal in Crimea, which supplied the needs of the Russian occupation army.

The SBGS spokesperson reported active attempts by the enemy to storm border guard positions in some parts of the frontline. The border guards have combat brigades with experience and weapons to counter the attacks.
