The situation is the hottest in the Kurakhove and Pokrovske sectors. Ukrainian defense forces are repelling numerous attacks by Russian occupants, restraining their advance in various parts of the frontline.

About 250 people have been evacuated due to the fires in Kharkiv region, especially in the area of Andriivka. 14 fires have covered 40 hectares of forest, and 600 rescuers are working to localize the fire.

As a result of two strikes by Ukrainian military aircraft on Kharkiv, 9 people were injured, including a 15-year-old boy and 4 rescuers. At night, the enemy shelled the village of Tsupivka, damaging a private house.

Two more civilians sought medical attention after yesterday's shelling of Kharkiv. The total number of casualties reached nine, including four rescuers wounded on their professional holiday.

The U. S. State Department has reviewed the plan for Ukraine's victory presented by Zelenskyy and considers it effective. The United States will continue to provide Ukraine with the necessary assistance and is confident in its victory.

Over the last day, 194 combat engagements took place, 100 of them in the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk sectors. The enemy carried out 72 air strikes and fired 4,800 times, and Ukrainian forces repelled numerous attacks in different directions.

There were 139 combat engagements on the frontline, a quarter of which are ongoing. The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelled Russian attacks in various directions, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy.

Since the beginning of the year, the enemy has shelled the Kharkiv region 2,740 times, using 950 KABs and 346 rockets.

The enemy is actively attacking Ukrainian Armed Forces positions and civilian infrastructure in Kupyansk region using rockets. Several crossings have been destroyed, the number of air strikes has decreased, but attacks on the border areas continue.

Over the past day, 371 fires broke out in Ukraine over an area of 275. 15 hectares. Most fires occurred in Odesa (36), Kharkiv (35), and Kyiv (32) regions. In Dnipropetrovska oblast, 102 fires in ecosystems were extinguished.

Russian occupants regrouped assault groups in Vovchansk. Since the beginning of the day, there have been 4 firefights in the area of Vovchansk and Lypky.

Due to the heat wave, electricity consumption in Ukraine will increase, causing a shortage. Scheduled blackouts will take place from 17:00 to 21:00. Electricity is expected to be imported from 5 countries, 498 settlements are without power.

At night, Russian troops attacked Kozachya Lopan, damaging two houses. During the day, the occupiers also shelled other settlements in Kharkiv region, injuring one woman in Kupiansk.

There were 145 combat engagements in the frontline, almost a third of which took place in the Pokrovsk sector. The enemy carried out 79 air strikes and over 4,600 attacks, and Ukrainian forces repelled numerous attacks in different directions.

Russian occupants launched 11 Shahed attack UAVs in Ukraine. All the drones were shot down by air defense forces in different regions of the country, including Mykolaiv, Kyiv and Kharkiv.

There were 110 combat engagements over the last day, with the largest number of combat engagements in the Pokrovsk sector - 33. The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled most of the attacks, destroying a significant amount of enemy equipment and manpower.

The President noted the success of the Armed Forces at the front and the operation in Kursk region. He called on partners to speed up the supply of weapons and announced important weeks of diplomatic work.

Over the last day, 81 combat engagements were registered in the frontline. Ukrainian defenders are repelling Russian invaders' attacks in various sectors, including Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Lyman and Kramatorsk.

On August 18, Russian forces shelled Kupiansk, injuring a 52-year-old woman. Private houses and a utility company in Kivsharivka were also damaged.

The occupiers are looking for opportunities to penetrate deep into the defensive positions in the Kharkiv sector. The enemy's use of tactical aviation has decreased due to the successful actions of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Over the last day, 139 combat engagements were registered in the frontline. The highest concentration of attacks was in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian troops repelled 46 enemy assault and offensive attacks.

There were 98 combat engagements over the day. Russia launched 3 missile strikes, 64 air strikes, and used 463 kamikaze drones. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are repelling attacks at the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Lyman and other directions.

In Kharkiv, a 55-year-old Nissan driver, while drunk, provoked a three-car accident. The driver of a Renault was killed in the accident, and two passengers were injured.

Oleksandra Mulkevych, who was killed by a Russian drone strike, was buried at the Baikove cemetery. In her posthumous letter, she wrote about the honor of dying for Ukraine.

Starting August 19, a curfew will be in effect in Kurakhove from 17:00 to 09:00. The head of the Donetsk RMA urged local residents to evacuate the frontline area and follow safety rules.
