The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed the successful destruction of a storage and maintenance facility for Shahed kamikaze drones in the Orel region of the Russian Federation. The operation has significantly reduced the enemy's potential to conduct air attacks against Ukraine.

Russian troops are trying to break through to Pokrovsk through the left and right flanks to surround the city. Formations of three Russian combined arms armies are concentrated in the area.

The Ministry of Defense has authorized the delivery of a new domestic drone, the Shchedryk, to the troops. The UAV has silent engines, is resistant to electronic warfare, and can operate at altitudes that are difficult for enemy air defense to reach.
