Steven Charles Witkoff was born on March 15, 1957, in the Bronx, New York, USA. He earned a bachelor's degree in 1980 and a Juris Doctor degree in 1983 from Hofstra University. After starting his career as a real estate lawyer, he co-founded Stellar Management Company in 1985 and then established the Witkoff Group in 1997. In 2025, he became the US Special Envoy to the Middle East, and subsequently, the US President's Special Envoy for Peace Missions.
