Andriy Mykolayovych Shevchenko is a Ukrainian footballer, coach, and president of the Ukrainian Association of Football (since January 25, 2024). He is considered one of the greatest strikers of the first decade of the 21st century. Born on September 29, 1976, in the village of Dvirkivshchyna, Kyiv Oblast. At the age of 9, he started attending a football section. He quickly began to show high results as an effective goalscorer. He began his professional adult career at "Dynamo-2," from where he joined the Ukrainian youth national team, and then the top league. From 1999, he began playing for foreign clubs. Andriy Shevchenko played for "Milan" and "Chelsea." After finishing his playing career, he became a coach.
