The admission campaign to higher education institutions has started in Ukraine. The cost of contract education at leading universities, including KNU, LNU, KhNU, Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and others, has been published.

Russian Telegram channels are spreading a fake announcement about children assembling drones in Sumy for money. The Center for Countering Disinformation refuted this information, pointing out the invalid phone number and the absence of such announcements.

In Mykolaiv, from February 24, 2022, to June 24, 2025, 183 people died as a result of enemy attacks. 3021 residential buildings, 96 educational institutions, and 31 healthcare facilities were damaged.

In the first half of 2025, 161 apartment buildings were damaged in Sumy, compared to 19 for the entire year of 2024. In total, from February 24, 2022, to June 24, 2025, 142 deaths and 1460 damaged buildings were recorded in Sumy.

As a result of a 10-UAV attack on Kharkiv, a 34-year-old woman was killed, 82 people were injured or suffered acute shock, including 8 children. The strikes hit the Shevchenkivskyi, Kholodnohirskyi, and Slobidskyi districts.

Russian occupiers struck a facility of JSC "Sumyoblenergo", damaging energy equipment. Restoration work is underway to restore electricity supply to city residents.

Russian troops attacked a civilian infrastructure object on the outskirts of the Sumy community with a strike UAV. Two people sustained minor injuries, and the premises were damaged.

In the Sumy region, the enemy attacked the Khotyn community, as a result of which a 74-year-old woman sustained multiple injuries and was hospitalized. Almost 90 shellings were recorded during the day, there are dead and wounded civilians, and civilian infrastructure was damaged.

One-room and three-room apartments are cheapest in Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Mykolaiv, and Kharkiv. Two-room apartments are available in Chernihiv, Khmelnytskyi, and Poltava.

Due to a break in the contact network in Khmelnytskyi region, a number of trains are delayed. Traffic is moving on one track, and restoration work is underway.

Ukrainian forces recently advanced in the Borova area, while Russian invaders advanced in the Novopavlivka area. The Russian army also captured Piddubne in Donetsk Oblast and Lobkove in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

On July 6, the Russian army attacked the Sumy community with four drones. As a result of the shelling, one person was killed, one was wounded, 25 houses were damaged, and 5 were completely destroyed.

Since 2020, 145 deputies of city councils in regional centers of Ukraine (12. 5%) have prematurely terminated their powers. Kropyvnytskyi region is the only one operating with its initial composition, while in Kherson, the number of deputies who resigned their mandates is 37%.

An enemy drone attacked the Sumy community around 6:00 PM, hitting the Kovpakivskyi district. The blast wave damaged the windows of a shuttle bus, several private cars, and a residential building; there are no casualties.

The prosecutor's office has sent an indictment to court against former top officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs: Zakharchenko, his deputy, and the heads of law enforcement agencies in Kyiv, Cherkasy, and Sumy. They are accused of organizing violence and illegal detentions of 117 participants in protests in 2013-2014.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine identified Russian military personnel of the 30th Motorized Rifle Regiment involved in the shelling of Sumy on June 3, 2025, with a BM-21 "Grad" MLRS. As a result of the attack, six people died and 29 were injured, including three children.

Russian invaders have not pulled barrel artillery to Sumy region, where active battles with Ukrainian forces are ongoing. The enemy's advance in Sumy region has been stopped, and its activity in the border communities has significantly decreased.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence published details of the electronic component base of the Shahed-136 MS series strike UAV shot down in the Sumy direction. The research revealed a high-speed Nvidia Jetson Orin mini-computer and a modernized Iranian Nasir satellite system.

Significant movement of Russian troops and armored vehicles has been recorded in temporarily occupied Mariupol. Movement was observed in several directions, from Rostov Oblast and Crimea, including tanks and BMPs.

Ukraine has returned home a group of Defenders under the age of 25, defenders with injuries and health problems. The vast majority of those released were held in captivity for more than three years, including those captured during the defense of Mariupol.

Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak stated that Ukraine would not be able to hold out much longer without Western military assistance, despite significant Russian losses and successful actions of the Defence Forces in certain areas. Currently, the main attention is focused on Sumy Oblast, where the enemy offensive has been stopped, and the Defence Forces are strengthening the city's defenses.

In the week from June 16-22, over 350 people were evacuated from Sumy Oblast; in total, over 12,000 residents have been moved since March. Despite the shelling, Sumy continues to function, and authorities are working to create conditions for safe living in the region.

A 33-year-old resident of Kyiv Oblast organized a prostitution network in Sumy, recruiting women and renting accommodation for intimate services. The police conducted searches in Kyiv and Sumy, seizing evidence, and informed the woman of suspicion of pimping.

A large-scale fire at one of the enterprises in Sumy, which arose as a result of an enemy attack on June 21, has been extinguished. Due to the threat of repeated strikes, rescuers were forced to periodically suspend work and go to shelters

In Sumy, the enemy attacked civilian infrastructure and the residential sector. Damage to buildings has been recorded, but there were no casualties.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that there are 695,000 Russian military personnel on the territory of Ukraine. In the Sumy direction, the enemy advanced 200 meters, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine pushed them back 200-400 meters.

On June 20, 188 combat engagements were recorded at the front. The Armed Forces of Ukraine hit 18 areas of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment, as well as other important objects.

On June 20, the Russian army attacked a high-rise building in Sumy with a Lancet attack drone, injuring a 75-year-old woman. The roof and about 20 windows in two five-story buildings were damaged.
