DTEK (formerly Donetsk Fuel and Energy Company) is the largest private investor in Ukraine's energy sector. The company was founded in 2005 for the efficient management of energy assets. Rinat Akhmetov is the beneficiary of the parent company DTEK RENEWABLES UKRAINE B.V., which is registered in the Netherlands.
