On the night of July 30, Russia launched Kh-101 and Kalibr cruise missiles. The bulk of the missiles flew across Ukraine to the west, explosions occurred in Lviv.

On the night of July 30, Russian troops carried out several waves of launches of Kh-101 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS and Tu-160 aircraft, as well as Kalibr missiles from the Black Sea waters. The main part of the missiles flew through the territory of Ukraine in a western direction, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports, writes UNN.

According to the military, after the launches, the missiles entered through Sumy region, then moved through Poltava, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil and Rivne regions towards the western regions of the country.
The Air Force also reported launches of Kalibr cruise missiles from the Novorossiysk area, as well as the movement of attack drones and the use of guided aerial bombs on Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Missiles reached western regions of Ukraine
After passing through the central part of the country, the Air Force reported the movement of cruise missiles towards Lviv, Volyn and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
In particular, the military warned about missiles heading to Lviv region from Ternopil region, and later twice reported the direct movement of cruise missiles towards Lviv. The movement of missiles towards Burshtyn, Volodymyr, Ustyluh and Ivano-Frankivsk was also recorded.
According to local media and monitoring channels, explosions were heard in Lviv during the missile attack. Information about possible consequences of the strikes is being clarified.
