On May 22, warm weather without precipitation is expected in Ukraine, except for the western, Zhytomyr, and Vinnytsia regions, where short-term rains and thunderstorms are predicted.
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported enemy UAVs in the airspace of the region. Air defense forces are already working on targets, and the air raid alert is spreading to other regions.
As of April 18, 2025, Ukrainian farmers have sown 1. 25 million hectares of spring grains and legumes, which is 21.9% of the plan. The most sown is barley, and the leader of the sowing campaign is Odesa region.
According to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, today in Ukraine it will be cloudy and cold, precipitation in the form of sleet is expected. In the southern, Kirovohrad and Dnipropetrovsk regions, gusts of wind are 15-20 m/s.
Bad weather has arrived in the Odesa region. A snowfall was recorded in the city of Podilsk, although it is now the beginning of April. Snow fell in Lviv earlier.
Ukrainian farmers have sown 926,000 hectares of spring crops, and the leaders in terms of sowing rates are Odesa, Ternopil, Poltava, Mykolaiv, and Vinnytsia regions. They plan to increase the area under wheat.
As of March 28, 2025, Ukrainian farmers have sown 551. 8 thousand hectares of spring grains. Barley has been sown the most – 315.5 thousand hectares.
