During January 21, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the advance of Russian troops, with 140 combat engagements recorded. The largest number of attacks occurred in the Pokrovsk (33) and Huliaipole (31) directions.

Since the beginning of January 15, 161 combat engagements have been recorded at the front. The enemy used aviation, dropping 160 guided aerial bombs, and carried out almost 5,000 kamikaze drone strikes.

President Zelenskyy heard Commander-in-Chief Syrskyi's report, noting that the front is the most difficult. He emphasized that Russian losses should not decrease, and defense on the front is a strength in diplomacy.
In Huliaipole, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, combat clashes continue between reconnaissance-and-search and assault groups. Over the past day, Ukrainian units conducted more than ten assault operations.
On January 10, 139 combat engagements took place at the front, with over 2,800 shellings and 33 air strikes recorded. The highest intensity of fighting remains in the Pokrovsk direction, where 32 attacks were repelled.
