Former head of the DFS Nasirov mobilized to the Armed Forces - SAP

Former head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov voluntarily mobilized to the Armed Forces. This was reported to UNN journalist by SAP spokeswoman Olga Postolyuk.

During the court hearing, it became known from the lawyer that the accused was mobilized to the Armed Forces on his own initiative. The lawyer also submitted to the court a copy of the order on the enrollment of the person in the personnel of the military unit

- said Postolyuk.

This refers to the hearing in the case of Nasirov and his accomplice Volodymyr Novikov, who are accused of making illegal decisions in favor of the firms of ex-MP Onyshchenko.

The SAP noted that all circumstances, as well as the possibility of the accused's participation in the meeting, will be established.

Addition

Former head of the DFS Roman Nasirov and department head Volodymyr Novikov are accused of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (abuse of power or official position, resulting in serious consequences). In addition, the former head of the DFS is charged with committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 366 (official forgery, which caused serious consequences) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The prosecution believes that the former head of the DFS in 2015-2016, acting in the interests of the People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 8th convocation, personally made a number of unfounded and illegal decisions to postpone the tax debt and obligations of "Firma "Khas" LLC, "Karpatnadrainvest" LLC, "Nadra Geocenter" LLC. This caused serious consequences in the form of non-receipt of mandatory payments to the state budget in the amount of over UAH 2 billion.

Nasirov is also accused in the case of allegedly receiving a bribe of UAH 722 million for VAT refunds to companies of businessman Oleg Bakhmatyuk.

On May 24, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office announced that a case against the former head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine and his advisor regarding a bribe of 722 million hryvnias had been sent to court.
