Russia attacked Ukraine again with North Korean ballistic missiles; six people were killed in Zaporizhzhia. Zelenskyy called on the world to increase pressure on the Russian Federation to protect against aggression.
Every step taken by the Russian Federation—from ramping up ballistic missile production and involving North Korean systems to preparing for mobilization—shows that Moscow is preparing not for peace but for escalation, and the world needs to respond now, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, reacting to Russia’s overnight attack using North Korean ballistic missiles, UNN reports.

"Since the night, efforts have been underway to eliminate the consequences of the Russian strike in Zaporizhzhia. The city was hit with North Korean ballistic missiles, Zircon missiles, and guided aerial bombs. It was a brutal attack, calculated to inflict maximum damage specifically on civilian infrastructure. Unfortunately, as of now, six people are known to have been killed and nineteen wounded in the city. My condolences to their families and loved ones," Zelenskyy wrote on social media.
According to him, rescuers continue to extinguish a fire at one of the impact sites.
"In Kyiv, a missile strike damaged an infectious diseases hospital building and businesses. Terror by drones continues virtually every day in our frontline communities. In Kherson and Kharkiv, substations were hit overnight, resulting in outages. All services are working to restore electricity to families. Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv regions were also attacked. In addition to missiles, more than 120 drones were used against Ukraine, and most of them were jet-powered Shaheds," the President said.
