The Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces has put units on the highest level of readiness due to Russian missile strikes on Ukraine. Polish and allied aviation has begun preventive operations, ground air defense systems are operating at maximum capacity.

On the night of August 28, the enemy used Tu-95MS to launch Kh-101/555 cruise missiles. The Air Force declared a missile threat throughout Ukraine.

Near Sevastopol, Russian air defense destroyed three unknown aerial targets. Infrastructure was not damaged, residents are advised to remain calm.

Since the beginning of the day, 110 combat engagements have taken place, the enemy has launched 56 air strikes and 1647 drone attacks. The most intense battles continue in the Pokrovsk direction, where 33 assaults have been repelled.

The Center for Countering Disinformation refuted information about alleged strict checks of Ukrainians at the Polish border. Russian propagandists are spreading fabricated stories to undermine relations between Kyiv and Warsaw.

Starting tomorrow, men aged 18 to 22 inclusive can travel abroad. This is stipulated by a new government decree.
