The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports that Russian special services continue an information operation in Syria, offering capsules with allegedly dangerous chemicals on the “black arms market. ” This is part of a campaign to discredit Ukraine and destabilize the situation in the Middle East.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine intercepted an order from the field commander of the 155th Separate Marine Brigade of the Russian Federation regarding the execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war. This brigade, known for war crimes, has suffered significant losses and is a priority target for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The updated War&Sanctions database now contains information on 626 vessels of the Russian and Iranian "shadow fleet" that ensure illegal oil supplies bypassing sanctions. Among them are 20 Russian tankers and 11 Iranian vessels that finance the war and attacks on Ukraine.

An explosion occurred on a main gas pipeline in Langepas, Russia, serving military-industrial complex enterprises. The damage will result in losses of $1.3 million and a month of repair work.

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, stated that a truce in Ukraine could be reached long before the end of the year, and a ceasefire – in the coming months. This requires the participation of Ukraine, Russia, and the USA.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported an explosion at a logistics base in occupied Melitopol on July 10, 2025. As a result of the detonation, five Rosgvardia members were eliminated and a satellite communication hardware station was destroyed.

The Lukhovitsy Aviation Plant in the Moscow region, which specializes in the production and modernization of MiG-29 and MiG-31 fighters, was attacked. The enterprise also participates in the development of new models of combat aircraft and the modernization of Geran/Shahed UAVs.

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports significant losses among Russian convicts fighting in Ukraine. From July 2024 to April 2025, 14,560 people were enlisted in the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces, of whom at least 4,212 were killed or went missing.

Intelligence officers of the "Black Winter Group" of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, together with the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, held positions and destroyed occupier's dugouts in the Lyman direction. They also rescued wounded soldiers under shelling.

Fighters of the 5th Separate Assault Kyiv Brigade destroyed a motorcycle, a ground drone, and a shelter with enemy infantry in the Kramatorsk direction. No enemy object remained unnoticed by FPV operators.

President Zelenskyy heard a report from HUR head Budanov regarding Russia's vulnerabilities and the prisoner exchange process. The implementation of agreements from the second meeting in Turkey for the release of Ukrainians was discussed.

Russian occupiers discussed the use of poisonous substances against Ukrainian defenders. Intelligence services of the Netherlands and Germany confirm Russia's widespread use of prohibited chemical weapons in Ukraine.

Ukrainian long-range drones of the HUR hit the Ilsky Oil Refinery named after A. Shamara in Krasnodar Krai. As a result of the attack, one of the technological workshops of the enterprise was hit.

The Budget Committee approved consideration of bill 13439 on increasing the budget for the national security and defense sector. The general fund provides for a significant increase for the Ministry of Defense, HUR, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, while the special fund increases by UAH 10.8 billion.

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (GUR MOU) has published an order from the commander of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces regarding the urgent reinforcement of the military base in Armenia. Personnel selection is being carried out from four combined arms armies, and individuals involved in illegal drug trafficking are prohibited from being selected.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) has released data on 110 cultural values appropriated by Russia during archaeological excavations in Crimea in 2014–2025. Among them are exhibits from Chersonesus Taurica and other sites, which were transported to a museum in Yekaterinburg.

The HUR reports that the Kremlin is accelerating the manning of the military base in Gyumri, recruiting personnel from Rostov, Volgograd regions, and occupied Crimea. This is happening against the backdrop of deteriorating relations between Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation.

Russia is trying to involve Laos in the war against Ukraine by organizing the participation of Laotian engineering troops in demining territories of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. Laos is ready to send up to 50 sappers and provides free assistance to the Russian Federation, rehabilitating wounded Russian military personnel.

Fighters of the HUR unit "Freedom of Russia Legion" captured Nigerian Kehinde Oluwagbemileke in the Zaporizhzhia direction. He was a student of the Moscow Higher School of Economics and fought as part of the 503rd Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces.

On the outskirts of Strilkove, Kherson region, a Chevrolet Aveo exploded, carrying three UAV operators from the Russian center "Bars-Sarmat". All three occupiers, including the group leader, were eliminated.

Ukraine conducted the eighth stage of prisoner exchange under the Istanbul agreements, returning military personnel, civilians, critically ill, and wounded, including medics. Among those released are defenders of Mariupol, many of whom had been in captivity for over three years.

A powerful explosion occurred in temporarily occupied Khartsyzk, Donetsk region, on July 2, causing a fire. Local media and the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council confirmed the strike on an ammunition depot.

Russian occupiers launched experimental naval drones in the direction of the city of Pivdenne, Odesa region, but they detonated without reaching the territorial waters of Ukraine. The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, confirmed that the raid yielded no results.

In May, Ukraine returned to the Russian Federation citizens evacuated from the Kursk region. This happened as part of the return of civilians, without an exchange, as reported by Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.

Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kyrylo Budanov reported that Dnipro is threatened only by missile and drone attacks, rejecting the possibility of daily use of 400-500 Shahed drones. Currently, the village of Dachne remains under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov reported an expected significant increase in North Korean citizens in the Russian Federation who will sign contracts as volunteers. This contingent could number 12,000 people, which will change the perception of the DPRK's participation in the war.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine hit the military facility "Kupol" in Udmurtia, which produces SAMs. The Saratovorgsintez oil refinery in the Saratov region was also targeted.

Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, announced that large-scale exchanges of prisoners of war with the Russian Federation are continuing, expressing hope for their continuation. Exchanges of bodies of fallen servicemen are not expected at the moment.

Brovary Mayor Ihor Sapozhko called on parents and educators to explain to teenagers the importance of honoring the memory of fallen Heroes of Ukraine. This happened after a group of teenagers was relaxing in the central park near the Memory Memorial, showing disrespect to the remarks of the mother of a fallen soldier.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine identified Russian military personnel of the 30th Motorized Rifle Regiment involved in the shelling of Sumy on June 3, 2025, with a BM-21 "Grad" MLRS. As a result of the attack, six people died and 29 were injured, including three children.
