"As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy facilities, some consumers in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions are temporarily without electricity," the Ministry of Energy reported.

As stated, energy workers are working to restore power to Ukrainian homes as quickly as possible. Restoration work continues around the clock.

"No restrictions are forecasted for today. Active energy consumption should be shifted to daytime hours - from 11:00 to 15:00," the Ministry of Energy noted.

According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption has decreased. Today, July 22, as of 09:30, it was 8.5% lower than at the same time the previous day – Tuesday. The reason for the changes is a drop in air temperature across all regions of Ukraine to comfortable levels. This reduces the need for widespread use of air conditioners by consumers. Yesterday, July 21, the daily peak consumption was recorded during the day. It was 1.5% lower than the peak of the previous day – Monday, July 20. The reason is the decline of the heatwave in most regions.
