Donetsk

A propaganda center “Tochka” was opened in Makiivka to prepare Ukrainian youth for service in the Russian army. The occupiers also took about 3700 children from Donetsk region to Russia in 2024.

Ukrainian defenders are resisting attacks by Russian troops in the Kupyansk sector and in the Donetsk region. In the Kursk region, 42 combat clashes were recorded, 12 of which are still ongoing.

Russian troops have been ordered to transport ammunition by civilian vehicles in the Donetsk region. The military is prohibited from wearing uniforms and ordered to disguise themselves as local residents.

“Water of Donbass” reports a twofold reduction in drinking water reserves in the tanks in the occupied territories. In Donetsk, there are hours-long queues for water, which is delivered to yards.

Five people, including a 2-year-old boy, were wounded in the north of Donetsk region as a result of Russian shelling. In Sloviansk, 14 private houses were damaged, and a 70-year-old woman was wounded in Siversk.

Russian troops have not made any advances on Chasiv Yar, which may be due to the accumulation of reserves. The town is partially divided by the Siverskyi Donets-Donbas canal, with the main part under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Russian troops are afraid to approach Pokrovsk and are trying to “encircle” the city. Ukrainian defenders have successfully repelled 38 enemy attacks in the city's vicinity.

Russian troops attacked Kramatorsk, destroying part of a residential building. Over the past day, the occupiers shelled 9 settlements in Donetsk region, damaging 37 civilian objects.

In Makiivka, the Russians have set up a youth center to prepare Ukrainians for service in the Russian Armed Forces. The occupiers are teaching how to fly drones and taking children to Russia to enter universities.

Border guards at the Nyzhankovychi checkpoint found 61 gold bars in the armrest of a Toyota. The 37-year-old Donetsk resident and her passenger could not explain the origin of the gold worth UAH 6 million.

Ukrainian Armed Forces Chief Syrskyi reported to the President on the situation in Donetsk, Kursk, Kherson, and Kharkiv regions. Most of the attacks are on the Pokrovske and Kurakhove directions, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces are successfully repelling the enemy.
