
Ukrainians have different ideas about what can be called a victory in the war – survey

According to a Razumkov Center survey, 74% of Ukrainians believe in victory, but they imagine it differently: from the restoration of the 2014 borders to the destruction of the Russian army.
According to a survey conducted by the Razumkov Center in March-February of this year, 74% of Ukrainians believe in victory over the enemy. The proportion of those who do not believe in victory over Russia is 16%, writes UNN.
It is noted that 56% of residents of the South of the country, 67% of the Eastern region, 79% of residents of the Central region and 81.5% of residents of the western regions believe in victory. At the same time, in the Western region, 11% do not believe in victory, in the Central region - 14%, in the Eastern region 23% and in the South of the country 24%.
Answering the question of what can be considered a victory, most often (30%) those who believe in victory answer that victory can be considered the expulsion of Russian troops from all over Ukraine and the restoration of borders as of January 2014.
In turn, 17% will consider the destruction of the Russian army and assistance to the uprising/collapse within Russia as a victory.
- 22% will consider the restoration of the status quo as of February 23, 2022 as a victory;
- 11% - the expulsion of Russian troops from all over Ukraine, except for the occupied Crimea;
- 10% - the cessation of the war, even if the Russian army remains on the territories that were captured as a result of the full-scale invasion after February 24, 2022.

The survey was conducted face-to-face throughout the territory controlled by Ukraine. During the study, 2018 respondents aged 18+ were interviewed.
The theoretical sampling error does not exceed 2.3%. Supplement Only 8% of Ukrainians would agree to the complete withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. 78% do not agree to such conditions.
