On the morning of August 14, Russians shelled a power facility in the south, causing no blackouts. At night, UAVs attacked a facility in the north, temporarily blacking out part of Chernihiv region. The power supply has been restored.

On August 14, no power outages are planned in Ukraine. However, in Chernihiv region, 7 settlements were cut off from power due to shelling, and a car of electricians exploded in the east.

The Ukrainian Air Force destroyed 17 of the 23 Shahed drones launched by Russia at night. The attack also included two X-59/69 missiles, and targeted several regions of Ukraine.

There were 134 combat engagements over the last day, 54 of them in the Pokrovsk sector. The enemy launched 2 missile and 81 air strikes, making 4,594 attacks. Defense forces repelled numerous enemy attacks.

At night, Russian troops attacked Chernihiv region with drones. An infrastructure facility was hit in Nizhyn district, with no casualties. The consequences of the attack are being promptly eliminated.

Ukraine is carrying out an unprecedented repair campaign of energy facilities despite constant attacks. The goal is to prepare as much equipment as possible for the heating season, especially in the nuclear power sector.

The General Staff reports 80 combat engagements on the frontline over the last day, almost half of them in the Pokrovsk sector. In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy carried out 12 attacks near Lypky, Hlyboke, Tykhy and Vovchansk.

The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to allocate UAH 2. 7 billion for the restoration of frontline towns in four regions. The funds will be used for the comprehensive reconstruction of communities to return people and develop the local economy.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal inspected the restoration of a children's hospital in Chernihiv region damaged by Russian shelling. The repair work includes the construction of shelters and the provision of an autonomous power supply.

The Cabinet of Ministers has lifted restrictions on the import of energy equipment and is stepping up the program to install alternative energy in government agencies. The government is also working to decentralize the power system and increase generation in Chernihiv region.

Seven explosions were recorded in the direction of Yeline village of the Snovska community in Chernihiv region: 6 from artillery and 1 from a mortar. There is no information about deaths or injuries among the local population.

There were 96 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day. The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk sector, where almost a third of its offensives took place, in particular in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Zhelanne, Karlivka and Hrodivka.

On August 8, Kyiv is expected to have comfortable weather without precipitation, up to +26°. Across Ukraine, the temperature will range from +25° to +32°, with partly cloudy skies and light rains possible in most regions.
