Due to weather conditions, consumers in Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv and Zaporizhzhya regions lost power. Power engineers are working to restore power supply to the affected communities.

According to weather forecaster Natalia Didenko, the air temperature in Ukraine will rise again on August 12. The heatwave will cover the southern, central and northern parts of the country, but night temperatures will be lower than in July.

According to the State Border Guard Service, Russia shelled Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions about 2,000 times in July. Artillery, drones, and aircraft were used, with Sumy and Kharkiv regions suffering the most.

In the last day, 156 combat engagements took place in the frontline. The situation was the hottest in the Pokrovsk sector, where 55 attacks were repelled. Ukrainian defense forces struck 18 times at enemy positions, hitting an important facility.

The General Staff reports 74 combat engagements along the frontline. The most active enemy attacks were recorded in the Pokrovsk sector, where 32 attempts to storm Ukrainian positions took place.

There were 149 combat engagements in the frontline, 52 of them in the Pokrovsk sector. The enemy was most active near Novooleksandrivka, Zhelanne and Prohres, losing a lot of equipment in the Kurakhove sector.
