Ukrainian air defense shoots down 30 of 38 enemy attack drones during massive attack

On the night of August 13, 2024, Russia launched a large-scale attack on the territory of Ukraine, launching 2 Iskander-M / KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Voronezh region and 38 Shahed-type attack drones from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk regions. Thanks to the coordinated work of mobile firing groups, aviation, anti-aircraft missile units and electronic warfare equipment, the Ukrainian Air Force managed to destroy 30 of the 38 drones launched.

Enemy drones were shot down in Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Kirovohrad, Kherson, Chernihiv, Dnipro, and Cherkasy regions.
