Russian troops attacked 8 settlements in 3 border communities of Chernihiv region with artillery and drones over the past day, 34 "hits" were recorded, the Northern Regional Office of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported on Facebook on Monday, UNN reports.

"The Russian army attacked eight settlements in three border communities of Chernihiv region during the day: Novhorod-Siverska, Semenivska and Snovska. The Russians used cannon artillery, FPV drones and dropped explosives from UAVs," the statement reads and lists:
- Novhorod-Siverska community: in the direction of Kamen village - 14 hits, probably from cannon artillery; in the direction of Hremiak village - one hit, probably from an FPV drone; in the direction of Pushkari village - one hit, probably from a UAV.
- Semenivka community: in the direction of Karpovychi village - five hits, possibly UAV explosive device drops; in the direction of Mkhy village - one hit, possibly UAV explosive device drop; in the direction of Liskivshchyna village - two hits, possibly UAV explosive device drops and eight hits, possibly cannon artillery drops; in the direction of Semenivka town - one hits, possibly FPV drone;
- Snovska community: in the direction of Hirsk village - one hit, probably an FPV drone.
There is no information on deaths or injuries among the local population as a result of the shelling.
