The President of France invited the leaders of Ukraine and four Arab countries to the G7 summit in Evian. They will discuss aid to Kyiv and stability in the Middle East.

French President Emmanuel Macron has invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the leaders of four Arab states to the G7 summit, which will take place on June 15-17 in Evian, France. This was reported by Le Monde, according to UNN.

According to Macron, Zelenskyy's participation is crucial for restoring a unified G7 position regarding support for Ukraine. The French leader noted that the summit plans to discuss further assistance to Kyiv, as well as the prospects for the negotiation process amid disagreements between European allies and US President Donald Trump.
On the Agenda – Ukraine and the Middle East
For a separate discussion on the situation in the Middle East, Macron invited the leaders of Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. One of the main topics will be the situation around the Strait of Hormuz and its impact on the global economy and energy markets.
The French president stated that participants will also discuss the issue of Iran, rising energy prices, and the consequences of the conflict for global security.
Countries of the Global South to join the discussions
Following the sessions on Ukraine and the Middle East, summit participants will consider the issue of partnership between the North and South. Representatives from South Korea, India, Kenya, and Brazil, as well as international financial institutions, are planned to be invited to the discussions.
The summit will conclude with a discussion on global economic imbalances, growth issues, cybersecurity, and digital sovereignty. Consultations with representatives of major technology companies are also scheduled.
