Kovel

City in Ukraine
Kovel is a city in Ukraine, the administrative center of the Kovel urban hromada and Kovel Raion of Volyn Oblast. Its area is 47.3 km², and its population (as of early 2022) is 67,575 people. The city is located on the Polissia Lowland, which belongs to the East European Plain. The state border of Ukraine runs 60-70 km from Kovel: to the north with Belarus, to the west with Poland.
