Petr Pavel
President of the Czech Republic
Petr Pavel was born on November 1, 1961, in Planá, then Czechoslovakia. He received his military education at the Military School of Land Forces in Vyškov and later a master's degree in international relations from King's College London. Throughout his career, he held important positions, including Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic and Chairman of the NATO Military Committee. Since March 2023, he has been the fourth president of the Czech Republic, leading the country and maintaining close cooperation with NATO and EU allies.
