Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 55 hostile attacks in Avdiivka sector over the last day - General Staff

Over the last day, 131 combat engagements took place on the frontline, the enemy conducted numerous attacks in the Avdiivka, Bakhmut and Novopavlivka sectors, but Ukrainian troops repelled these attacks and inflicted losses on the occupation forces.
There were 131 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day. The enemy conducted more than fifty attacks in the Avdiivka sector, and the occupants also attacked in the Bakhmut and Novopavlivka sectors. This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Over the last day, 131 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy launched 1 missile and 82 air strikes, fired 108 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities
The situation in the Volyn and Polissya sectors remains without significant changes.
On the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of our troops to threatened areas.
In the Kupyansk sector, our troops repelled 6 attacks near Berestove in Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region.
In the Liman sector, the enemy conducted 18 attacks in the areas of Kopanky and Novosergiyivka in Kharkiv region; Makiivka, Nevske, Serebryansky forestry in Luhansk region; Terny in Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut sector, our troops repelled 29 attacks in the areas of Verkhnekamianske, Vyymka, Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka, Novyi, Andriivka in Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka sector, our defenders repelled 55 attacks in the areas of Novokalynove, Keramik, Arkhangelske, Umanske, Sokil, Ocheretyne, Kalynove, Solovyove, Novopokrovske, Novoselivka Persha and west of Semenivka in Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka sector Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Vodiane, Novomykhailivka, Urozhayne in Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by aviation, tried to break through the defense of our troops 15 times.
In the Orikhivsk sector, the occupants attacked the positions of our defenders 4 times in the vicinity of Staromayorsk, Donetsk region.
In the Kherson sector , the enemy does not abandon its intention to drive our units from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River, attacking our defenders' positions 5 times near Krynky, Kherson region.
At the same time, our soldiers continue to actively inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, depleting the enemy along the entire combat line
It is noted that on yesterday, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck 13 areas of concentration of enemy personnel.
In addition, the missile troops destroyed 1 area of concentration of personnel and 1 enemy control center.

The General Staff said that over 120 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire over the past day.
