Dubinsky served with new notice of suspicion for high treason

The MP is suspected of subversive activities through the dissemination of Russian narratives on social media. New searches were conducted at the premises of Dubinsky and his lawyers.
People's Deputy of Ukraine Oleksandr Dubinsky has been notified of another suspicion of high treason, UNN reports.
Under the procedural guidance of the Office of the Prosecutor General, a People's Deputy of Ukraine of the IX convocation has been notified of suspicion of high treason committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons under martial law
And although the Office of the Prosecutor General does not name the MP, Dubinsky himself announced the new suspicion.
He reported that searches are being conducted at his place in the pre-trial detention center, as well as at his lawyers' premises.

As reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, the MP is suspected of intentional acts to the detriment of Ukraine's information security, in particular, providing assistance to the aggressor state in conducting subversive activities against Ukraine.
According to the investigation, the suspect systematically used his own information platforms to spread narratives beneficial to the aggressor state.
This refers to publications, posts, audio and video messages on his personal Telegram channel, as well as on Facebook and Instagram.
Their content was mainly aimed at undermining trust in state institutions, discrediting Ukraine's foreign and domestic political course, and creating prerequisites for disrupting mobilization processes, the Office of the Prosecutor General added.
According to the prosecution, such materials contained signs of manipulative influence, corresponded to modern Russian propaganda narratives, and were subsequently used by the enemy in subversive activities against Ukraine in the information sphere.
During the investigation, prosecutors, together with law enforcement agencies, examined more than 50 of his video messages and publications posted on his personal Telegram channel, social networks, and other information resources, including Russian ones. The conclusions of forensic examinations confirmed the presence of signs of spreading directives characteristic of Russian propaganda in the studied materials
According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the actions of the People's Deputy are qualified under Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment for a term of 15 years or life imprisonment, with confiscation of property.
The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation.

Oleksandr Dubinsky is a People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the 9th convocation from "Servant of the People".
In 2025, the SBI sent an indictment to court in the case of Dubinsky and his former assistant regarding the illegal smuggling of another person across the state border of Ukraine. This refers to assisting the brother of his common-law wife in going abroad. In 2024, the SBI completed the investigation into high treason by members of a criminal organization, in which Dubinsky was a figure. The case was transferred to court.
